A Compact Flash Card Power Connector is
located at JWFR. For the Compact Flash
Card or the Compact Flash Jumper (JCF1)
to work properly, you will need to connect
a power cable to JWFR fi rst. Refer to the
board layout below for the location.

Unit Identifi cation Switches
There are two Unit Identification (UID)
Switches on the motherboard. The Front
Panel UID Switch (JUID1) is connected to
the Front Control Panel. The Back Panel
(BP) UID Switch (JUID2) is located next to
DIMM#4D. When you push the UID Switch
(JUID1) on the Front Control Panel, both
BP UID and FP UID Indicators will be lit.
Push the UID Switch again to turn off both
Indicators. These UID Indicators provide
easy identifi cation of a system unit that may
be in need of service.
