The

JPO1 jumper can enable the

CPU Throttle mechnism to protect the CPU from damage

due to excessive heat. This is a safeguard to prevent damage to the system. When an
overheating condition occurs, thermal throttling kicks in. Three options are available to handle

overheating: Power off, CPU Throttle - decrease CPU frequency to the minimum (800 Mhz),

and Performance - do nothing.
