Chapter 2: Maintenance and Component Installation
Motherboard Battery
The motherboard uses non-volatile memory to retain system information when system power
is removed. This memory is powered by a lithium battery residing on the motherboard.
M.2 E-key 2230 and Mini PCIe
The E50-9AP supports one M.2-key 2230 and one full-size Mini PCIe.
Installation
1.
Gently insert the M.2 E-Key 2230 card to the SRW5 standoff first
2.
Fasten the heatspread with the full-size MiniPCIe card first, then use screws to secure it
to the SRW6 standoff.
