Chapter 3
Motherboard Connections
This section describes the connections on the motherboard and provides pinout definitions.
Depending on how the system is configured, not all connections are required. The LEDs
on the motherboard are also described here. A motherboard layout indicating component
locations can be found in Chapter 1.
Review the Safety Precautions in Appendix B before installing or removing components.
3.1 Power Connections
Power Connectors
JPWR1 is the 12-24V DC power connector that provides power to the motherboard. JPH1 is
a 4-pin HDD power connector that provides power to the hard disk drives.
