5-7 Adding PCI Cards
The 6016T-MT includes a CSE-RR1U-E16 riser card. This riser fi ts into a PCI slot
to support a full-height, half-length PCI Express x16 expansion card.
PCI Card Installation
When installing a PCI add-on card, make sure you install it into a slot that supports
the speed of the card.
Swing out the release tab on the PCI slot shield.

Insert the PCI card into the riser card, pushing down with your thumbs

evenly on both sides of the card.
Finish by pushing the release tab back to its original (locked) position.

Due to OS limitations, some operating systems may not show more than
4 GB of memory.
Due to memory allocation to system devices, the amount of memory that remains
available for operational use will be reduced when 4 GB of RAM is used. The
reduction in memory availability is disproportional. (See the following table.)
