Port 0 ~ Port 7 SATA Device Type
Use this item to specify if the SATA port specified by the user should be connected to a Solid
State drive or a Hard Disk Drive. The options are
Hard Disk Drive
and Solid State Drive.

PCI Latency Timer
Use this feature to set the latency Timer of each PCI device installed on a PCI bus. Select
32 to set the PCI latency to 32 PCI clock cycles. The options are

PCI-X Latency Timer
Use this feature to set the latency Timer of each PCI-X device installed on a PCI bus. Select
64 to set the PCI latency to 64 PCI clock cycles. The options are 32 PCI Bus Clocks,
64 PCI
Bus Clocks
, 96 PCI Bus Clocks, 128 PCI Bus Clocks, 160 PCI Bus Clocks, 192 PCI Bus
Clocks, 224 PCI Bus Clocks, and 248 PCI Bus Clocks.
PCI PERR/SERR Support
Select Enabled to allow a PCI device to generate a PERR/SERR number for a PCI Bus Signal
Error Event. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
Above 4G Decoding (Available if the system supports 64-bit PCI decoding)
Select Enabled to decode a PCI device that supports 64-bit in the space above 4G Address.

and Enabled.
SR-IOV Support
Use this feature to enable or disable Single Root IO Virtualization Support. The options are

and Enabled.
PCH SLOT4 PCI-E 3.0 X2 (IN X4) OPROM
Use this feature to select which firmware type to be loaded for the add-on card in this slot.
The options are Disabled,
Legacy
, and EFI.
CPU SLOT6 PCI-E 3.0 X8 OPROM
Use this feature to select which firmware type to be loaded for the add-on card in this slot.
The options are Disabled,
Legacy
, and EFI.
PCIe PLL SSC
Enable this feature to reduce EMI interference by down spreading clock 0.5%. Disable this
feature to centralize the clock without spreading. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
SATA Configuration
When this submenu is selected, the AMI BIOS automatically detects the presence of the SATA
devices that are supported by the Intel PCH chip and displays the following items:
SATA Controller(s)
This item enables or disables the onboard SATA controller supported by the Intel PCH chip.
The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
SATA Mode Selection
Use this item to select the mode for the installed SATA drives. The options are
AHCI
and RAID.
*If the item above "SATA Mode Selection" is set to RAID, the following items will
display:
SATA RAID Option ROM/UEFI Driver
Select UEFI to load the EFI drvier for system boot. Select Legacy to load a legacy driver for
system boot. The options are
Legacy ROM
and UEFI Driver.
SATA Frozen
Use this item to enable the HDD Security Frozen Mode. The options are Enabled and
Disabled

Serial ATA Port 0 ~ Port 7
This item displays the information detected on the installed SATA drive on the particular
SATA port.

Port 0 ~ Port 7 Hot Plug
This feature designates the SATA port specified for hot plugging. Set this item to Enabled
for hot-plugging support, which will allow the user to replace a SATA disk drive without
shutting down the system. The options are

Port 0 ~ Port 7 Spin Up Device
On an edge detect from 0 to 1, set this item to allow the PCH to initialize the device. The
options are Enabled and
Disabled
