PCI Expansion Slots
The X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT serverboard has for each node the following expansion
card slots available for use with a riser card (not all slots are accessible through
the chassis):
•
One (1) PCI-E 3.0 x16 Slot (CPU1 Slot1)
•
One (1) PCI-E 3.0 x8 Slot (CPU1 Slot2)
Ethernet Ports
One Intel i350 Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mb/s) Ethernet Controller is integrated
into all the serverboards for Gigabit Ethernet connections (G_LAN Port1) in the
2027PR-DTR and 2027PR-DTFR servers. Alternately, one Intel X540 10_Gigabit
Ethernet Controller is integrated on the serverboard for 10G Ethernet connections
(10G_LAN Port1) for the X9DRT-PT serverboard on the 2027PR-DTTR server.
Additionally an IPMI LAN port is provided above the rear USB connectors. The
system's Nuvoton WPCM450R BMC (Baseboard Management Control) chip
supports LAN 2.0.
Onboard Controllers/Ports
A Mellonox ® Infi niBand connector is located on the 2027PR-DTFR serverboard. The
color-coded I/O ports on all servers include a VGA (monitor) port, two Ethernet ports
(one IPMI LAN and one 1G or 10G Ethernet), two USB 2.0 ports (USB 0/1), two
onboard USB headers for two front access connections (USB 2/3) and an additional
internal USB header (USB 4).
Graphics Controller
The X9DRT-P/PIBF/PT features an integrated Matrox
®
G200eW Video Controller.
Infi niBand
The X9DRT-PIBF serverboard for the 2027PR-DTFR server includes an Infi niBand
connector. InfiniBand is a scalable serial communications link intended for
connecting processors with high-speed peripherals.
Other Features
Other onboard features that promote system health include onboard voltage
monitors, a chassis intrusion header, auto-switching voltage regulators, chassis and
CPU overheat sensors, virus protection, node manager software and BIOS rescue.
