Watch Dog
JWD controls Watch Dog, a system
monitor that takes action when a
software application freezes the
system. Pins 1-2 will have WD re-
s e t t h e s y s t e m i f a p r o g r a m
freezes. Pins 2-3 will generate a
non-maskable interrupt for the pro-
gram that has frozen (requires soft-
ware implementation). Watch Dog
must also be enabled in BIOS.

3rd Power Supply
Detect

3rd Power Supply Detect
The system can notify you in the
event of the 3rd power supply
failure. This feature assumes that
three power supply units are in-
stalled in the chassis, with one
acting as a backup. If you only
have one or two power supply
units installed, you should disable
this (the default setting) with JP13
to prevent false alarms. See the
table on right for pin definitions.
