Provisioning
During the provisioning process, a
goal
is specified and configured into Memory Mode or
App Direct Mode. This goal will be applied after the system has been reboot.
Memory Mode Configuration
Use the
ipmctl create -goal MemoryMode=n
command to provision any percentage of
PMem capacity on all sockets, where
n
represents the percentage number of capacity to be
provisioned in Memory Mode. A reboot is required to process new memory allocation
goals
.
