Checking the Temperature of an NVMe Drive
There are two ways to check using BMC.
Checking a Drive
•
BMC > Server Health > NVMe SSD –
Shows the temperatures of all NVMe drives, as in
Figure 3-4.
•
BMC > Server Health > Sensor Reading > NVME_SSD –
Shows the single highest
temperature among all the NVMe drives.
Installing a Hard Drive Cage
The rear hard drives reside in a drive cage that fits into the rear section of a node. Follow
the procedure below and refer to the corresponding figure on the following page for installing
the cage into a node.
1.
Locate the insertion stud on the cage and the hole in the node that receives the stud.
2.
With the stud and the hole aligned vertically, lower the cage into the node until the stud
fits into the hole.
3.
Slide the cage toward the rear end of the node to seat the stud in its hole.
4.
Secure the cage to the node with screws in the locations noted in the figures
