3.2 Accessing the Chassis
The chassis top is removable to allow access to components.
Removing the Top Cover
1. Remove the screws that secure the cover to the chassis.

Slide the cover back and off as directed by the arrow.
Caution
: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the cover in place.
The chassis cover must be in place to allow for proper airflow and to prevent overheating.
