Power Limit 1 Enable
Use this feature to set the power limit for the CPU. The options are Disable and

Power Limit 1 Clamp Mode
Use this feature to set the PL1 clamp bit. The options are Disable and
Enable
.
Power Limit 1 Power
Use this item to configure the value for Power Limit 1. The value is in milli watts and the
step size is 125mW. Use the number keys on your keyboard to enter the value. Enter Auto
to use the manufacture default setting.
Power Limit 1 Time Window
Use this feature to indicate the time window over which the TDP value should be maintained.
The default value is Auto. The options are
Auto
, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20,
24, 28, 32, 40, and 48.
Active Processor Cores
This feature determines how many CPU cores will be activated for each CPU. When Enabled
is selected, all cores in the CPU will be activated. Please refer to Intel's website for more
information. The options are
Disable
and Enable.
Intel® Virtualization Technology
Select Enable to use Intel Virtualization Technology to allow one platform to run multiple
operating systems and applications in independent partitions, creating multiple "virtual"
systems in one physical computer. The options are Disabled and
Enabled
.
VT-d
Select Enabled to enable Intel Virtualization Technology support for Direct I/O VT-d
by
reporting the I/O device assignments to VMM through the DMAR ACPI Tables. This feature
offers fully-protected I/O resource-sharing across the Intel platforms, providing the user with
greater reliability, security and availability in networking and data-sharing. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
Monitor Mwait
Select Enabled to enable the Monitor/Mwait instructions. The Monitor instructions monitors
a region of memory for writes, and MWait instructions instruct the CPU to stop until the
monitored region begins to write. The options are
Disabled
and Enabled.
