Attention:
Always disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and allow the device to cool off completely prior to cleaning.
• Do not submerge the device, the base station, the power cord or power plug in water.
• The base station, the power cord and the power plug may only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
• The outside of the water tank may be wiped with a damp cloth and then carefully dried.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents such as steel brushes, abbrasive cleaners or any other hard objects; they might
scratch the surface coating.
Descale the Device
The device must be descaled in regular intervals. The interval depends on the degree of hardness of your water and the
frequency of use. To ensure the operational safety of the device, visible calcification residue must be removed immediately. To
descale the unit, mix vinegar (not vinegar essence) with water, in a mixing ratio of 1:3.
• Fill the tank with this vinegar-water-solution to the maximum water level mark, let this solution remain in the tank for about 1
hour.
• Then bring this vinegar-water-solution to a boil and pour it out.
• Refill the water tank with clear water, up to the maximum water level mark, bring it to a boil and pour it out.
