•  Children do not understand the dangers which could arise from using electrical appliances. Keep 

children away from the appliance. Please be especially careful when using the appliance if children 

are nearby.

•  Keep all packaging material, for example plastic bags and polystyrene pieces, out of reach of 

children. Danger of suffocation.

•  Do not use the appliance if there is any sign of damage, if it has been dropped, or if it does not 

work normally. 

•  Check the appliance, power cable and plug regularly for visible signs of damage. Do not under 

any circumstances use the appliance if you have noticed any damage. Do not try to repair the 

appliance yourself.

•  Repairs should only be performed by a qualified professional.

•  Only use the appliance for the purpose for which it has been designed.

•  The appliance is only suitable for use in private households and is not suitable for commercial use.

BEFORE FIRST USE

•  Take all the device components out of the packaging and remove all packaging material and • 

Remove all appliance parts from the packaging and remove all padding material and inserts.

•  Remove the rubber sleeve over the engine spindle.

•  Unscrew the black plastic retainer ring from the motor spindle and remove it.

•  Now place the rear safety guard with the handle facing up onto the motor spindle and over the 

screw thread of the previously removed retainer ring.

•  Replace the retainer ring onto the spindle and secure it in place.

•  Now place the impeller on the motor spindle. Be careful when doing so to ensure that the retaining 

screw on the impeller is at the correct depth on the spindle following installation and that the 

spindle is precisely fitted with the impeller. Now ensure the retaining screw of the impeller is 

secured in place. The impeller is then securely fixed to the motor spindle.

•  Now place the front safety guard over the rear safety guard. To do so, hang the metal bracket of 

the front safety guard over the rear safety guard. The metal clips of the front safety guard can now 

be pushed downwards to connect both safety guards.

USING THE APPLIANCE 

1.  Plug in the appliance. 

2.  The device incorporates the following functions: 

•  Slow speed (1)

•  Medium speed (2)

•  Fast speed (3)

•  Rotation of the fan

•  Tilt of the fan

3.  Set the speed adjuster to the desired speed setting (1, 2, 3). The device will start based on the 

speed setting made.

4.  The rotation can be started and stopped using the “ON“ / “OFF“ switch (ON = the switch is 

depressed / Still = the switch is raised). If you wish to change from the rotation to the still setting, 

press the switch up and the fan remains in the new setting.

5.  If you wish to change the tilt angle of the fan, position or push the motor into the desired angle, 

whereupon it will audibly click into place.

6.  If you would like to switch the fan off, turn the speed governor on “0”.
