Arch and Square Top Trellis Assembly Instructions
Determine the location of the trellis in your garden and drive ground anchors in place 25 3/4” outside to outside. Posts should be plumb and can be permanently installed with concrete.
Arrange the
components of each
side wall on a clean
flat surface. The
interior of the wall can
best be assembled
by inserting the three
vertical rods into
the bottom rail first,
followed by the shorter
cross piece, then the
middle.
Finish dowel tops with
caps.
After finishing sub-assembly, insert rails into the side
posts.
Using the screws with snap caps, secure the interior
sub-assembly to the side posts. Put a cap on each
screw used. When side walls are completed, carefully
slide posts over ground anchors.
For Arch Top Trellis: Join the two arch sub-assemblies
together using the connector shown above. Connectors
are included with each kit.
For Arch Top Trellis: With the same type of connector
used previously, join the completed arch assembly to
the side walls.
For permanent installations of the Arch Top Trellis,
use the glue that is provided in the kit for top and side
connectors.
