IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•  Connect your unit only to a power outlet that 

was installed according to regulations. Do not 

use a table socket outlet or an extension cord.

•  When connecting the appliance to a power 

supply, only use the power cable included.

•  The voltage listed on the type plate must 

correspond to the voltage of your power 

network. 

•  When placing the power cord, please be sure 

not to create a tripping hazard.

•  Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces, 

open flames and sharp edges.

•  Do not touch the device, the power cord or 

power plug with wet or damp hands.

•  Do not submerge the device, the power cord or 

power plug in water or other fluids. Danger to 

life through electrocution!

•  Remove plug when the appliance is not in use.

•  When disconnecting the power plug, always 

pull on the plug, never on the cable.

•  Please be sure that the power plug is easily 

accessible at any time. 

•  Do not use the device outdoors.

•  Never expose the unit to direct sunlight.

•  Place the device only on a level and sturdy 

surface. 

•  Do not leave the device unattended while it is in 

use.

•  Children cannot recognize the dangers inherent 

in handling electronic devices. Keep children 

away from this device. Please be extremely 

observant when using this device in the 

presence of children!

•  Keep all packaging material, for example plastic 

bags and foam pieces, out of reach of children. 

Danger of suffocation. 

•  Do not use this device if it is damaged, if it fell or 

otherwise malfunctions. 

•  Regularly check the device, the power cord and 

the power plug for visible damages. Do not use 

the device if you notice any damages. Do not 

attempt to repair the device yourself.

•  Repairs may only be done by qualified staff.

•  Do not place any decorative objects which could 

damage the appliance (e.g. vases with water, 

objects with sharp edges) near the appliance. 

Do not place anything on top of the appliance.

•  Please be sure to keep a minimum distance of at 

least 10 cm on all sides to ensure sufficient air 

circulation.

•   During storms or periods of long absence (e.g. 

holidays), always remove the plug. During long 

periods of absence, also remove the batteries 

from the appliance.  

•  This device is intended only for private use, not 

for commercial use.
