INTRODUCTION
Sunnen® CH7600 Handle Set Replacement Kit is
designed to placed the Handle on the Drill used on
Sunnen CH100 Horizontal Hones.
TOOLS & MATERIALS
The following tools and materials are required for
unpacking and installing of your Machine:
Flat Head Screwdriver (4,5 & 6,5mm tips)
Cleaning Solvent
INSTALLATION
Read the following instructions carefully and
thoroughly before unpacking, inspecting and
installing the Kit. To install Kit, proceed as follows:
1. Turn OFF power to Hone.
2. Remove two Screws (CH765) securing Right
Side of Handle to Drill and three Screws (CH764)
securing Right Side of Handle to Left Side Handle
(see Figure 1)
. Keep Screws to re-use with new
handle.
3.With the aid of a narrow pointed tool (like a
straightened paper clip or needle), insert tool into
holes on back of old Switch to free wires from
switch
(see Figure 2)
.
● Remove two Screws (CH765) securing Left Side
of Handle to Drill Body. Keep Screws to re-use.
● Discard Switch and Handle halves.
4. Cut Ferrules off of Drill Wires and Strip Wires
back 8mm.
● Attach Ring Terminals (PET212 provide) to ends
of Wires
(see Figure 3)
.
5. Screw new Left Handle half (CH76012 provide)
onto Drill Body, using two Screws removed in step
3.
6. Screw Wires onto new trigger Switch using four
Screws provide with switch
(see Figure 4)
.
NOTE:
Make sure conductors line up as shown and
with Wiring Diagram (included).
7. Place new trigger Switch (CH76011 provide) in
proper position in Handle as shown
(see Figure 5)
.
● Then secure it to Handle with Screw (PHS440
provide).
8. Place Insert (CH7602 provide), in slot above
Switch to cover up hole in Handle
(refer to Figure 5)
.
