How to charge mobile devices with M60
This M60 may charge and operate almost all small mobile electronic devices
(e.g. mobile phones, MP3 players, GPS devices, PDAs, digital cameras etc.) with
a USB based power supply system. Please, use the appropriate USB charging
cable for your device.
1
Switch on your M60 by press and hold the main button
ON
for 2s.
2
Connect the USB charging cable to one of the two USB output ports
USB OUT
.
3
Press and release the button for USB output to switch on the USB
output port
USB OUT
. The button lights up.
4
Connect your mobile device to your USB charging cable. The char-
ging process should start automatically.
5
To finish the charging process wake up the M60 if necessary from
the energy saving mode by press and release the main button
ON
.
Than switch off the USB output port by press and release the button
for
USB OUT
or switch off the whole M60 by press and hold the
main button
ON
for 2s.
If several devices are connected to the M60, amounting to a continuous
current in excess of 6 A, the M60 will emit a continuous tone. Disconnect one
or more of the devices to resolve the overload. Otherwise the device may shut
down for safety reasons. If the current exceeds 7 A (even for a short period of
time), the M60 will shut down immediately for safety reasons without giving
any warning.
The USB port of the M60 delivers a standardized 5 V charge at a max. of 1 A.
The M60 does not support data exchange. If your device requires what is
referred to as a ‘handshake’ (electrical device identification) to transfer data,
this may disable the charging process thus preventing the batteries of the
USB device from being charged.
In this case, you need a CLA cable for your device and you have to plug it in
the
12V OUT
port (CLA) of the M60 to load it.
