However, due to the natu re of steel, surface oxida t ion (r usting ) w i ll occur if these protective coatings are
scratche d. Th is is not a def ect and thus not covere d by the war ranty.
• To mini m ize this condition, it is re commended to use care when assembling and han dling the product to
prevent scratchin g the paint. Sh ould an y scratc hing or damage occ ur, it is recommend ed to cover the
scratch imme diately wi th rust in hibiting paint (not in cluded).
• Surfac e rus t ca n also be easily removed wi t h a very ligh t application of regular cooking oil or WD‐40. If
surface oxida t ion (rusting ) occurs an d if no measure is taken t o prevent this, the oxidation may start
dripping onto deck or patio and caused damaging s t ains, which m ay be difficult t o remove. Th is can be
prevente d if the above‐m entioned meas u res are ta ke n to keep the product from oxidi zing.
• Do not use b leach, acid, o r other abrasive cleaners on the roof or frame parts.
• Keep i nstruc tion manual for future ref erence.
• Keep the original pa ckagi ng to store the gaze bo.
• Periodically che ck and en sur e tha t all bolts are well‐ tighten d uring use.
