Windows and Tiles

•  While using the squeegee on glass, be careful not to pick

up dirt or grit particles with the rubber blade. This could

scratch the glass.

•  Antique and stained glass may be brittle and can crack

under the extreme temperatures emitted by this steamer.

•  Do not use on glass when the temperature is below 32ºF

(0ºC). Glass may crack in cold temperatures.

•  If your window has been treated or coated in any way,

check with the manufacturer before using this steamer.

Upholstery and Fabrics

•  Upholstery and fabrics can contain stain resistant

treatments which may be affected by steam cleaning.

Try cleaning a small, inconspicuous area and allow

24 hours to verify any unusual effects. If this occurs,

do not continue to use. Check with the material supplier

for more information.

•  Always check the garment label or check with the clothing

retailer before steam cleaning clothes.

Descaling

m

CAUTION!

Wear a mask and gloves when descaling

the tank.
After about 12 hours of accumulated use, limescale might

build up in the boiler. To clean, use any descaler. Dilute and

dissolve the descaler with water and follow the descaler

instructions when preparing the solution. It is recommended to

use a descaler and water solution of 0.5 fl oz : 13.5 fl oz

(15g : 400ml).

1.  Completely empty the water tank.
2.

Fill the water tank with no less than 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) of

the descaling solution.

3.  Plug the unit into the mains plug.
4.  Turn the unit on and wait until the green light is steadily lit

(Fig. 21).

5.  DO NOT press the trigger. Wait 5 minutes and allow the

unit to go into sleep mode - the red and green lights will

flash alternately (Fig. 21).

6.

Turn the unit off.

7.  Repeat steps 4-6 two to three times.
8.  Empty the tank and dump out the descaling solution.
9.  To ensure there is no descaling solution left behind,

fill the tank with 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) of cold water and

repeat steps 4-6 to rinse the tank.

Storage

1.  Make sure the unit is OFF (O) and press and hold the

trigger until all pressure is released.

2.  Make sure the power cord is unplugged. Allow steam

cleaner to cool for at least 20 minutes before storing.

3.  Remove all accessories from the trigger gun.
4.
