New batteries must be
charged before they are used
for the first time.
On delivery, the battery fitted
in the fan unit is provided with
protective tape over the
terminals.
The battery cover locks the
battery. Raise the cover a few
centimetres, push with the
thumb resting on the battery
and withdraw the battery.

Remove the tape and
charge the battery.
