SUNBEAM CONvECTION PANEL hEATER.

•  This heater becomes hot during use. To avoid

burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
If provided, use handles when moving this
heater. Keep combustible materials such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 1metre away from the front of
the heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.

•  Extreme caution is necessary when any heater

is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the heater is left unattended.

•  To prevent overheating, do not cover the heater.
•  Always unplug the heater when not in use.
•  Do not use outdoors.
•  Do not run the cord of the heater under

carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw
rugs, runners or other floor coverings. Arrange
the cord away from traffic areas to avoid a
tripping hazard.

•  Do not locate the heater immediately below a

socket outlet.

•  Do not use this heater in the immediate

surroundings of a bath, shower, laundry area or
swimming pool.

•  Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter

any ventilation or exhaust openings as this may
cause electric shock or fire and damage to the
heater.

•  To prevent possible fire, do not block air

intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use
on soft surfaces, such as beds, where opening
may become blocked.

•  A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts

inside. Do not use it in areas where petrol,
paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.

•  If the appliance overheats, for example due to

the air inlet or outlet grilles being accidentally
blocked. The element automatically
de-energizes until the heater cools down.
As an added precaution we recommend
unplugging the heater.
