1. Remove all packaging from the product and remove the receptacle
lid by slightly bending the tray outwards. Remove all contents inside the
waste receptacle.
2. Line the receptacle with one of the enclosed liners and place the
waste receptacle underneath the tray so it holds itself in place.
3. Open the enclosed odor filter and slide it into the sleeve located on
the underside of the receptacle lid. Then install the receptacle lid
with the odor filter side down by inserting the tabs into the holes and
slightly flexing the tray outwards as needed. Note that the odor filter will
immediately begin trapping odors once it is opened.
4. Install the enclosed handle onto the carriage assembly and screw in
until snug.
Note: the handle connection can
also be used with a standard
size broom handle (see image on
right). Do not leave the litter box
unattended when using a handle
other than the one provided. Do
not leave the broom handle
connected when you are not using
the broom handle.
5. Place the litter box in your home.
If using the product on a tile floor
place the rubber grommets provided
on the bottom of the tray to
avoid sliding.
6. Add litter to the tray filling it up to the
fill line. Do not overfill tray. Be sure
the
carriage assembly is positioned
snugly against the back wall of the
litter box and the rake is directed
toward the waste receptacle.
Ensure handle is in home position.
