Attaching a Serial Console to the Server Module
To communicate directly with the Sun Blade T6320 server module, you can connect a
serial console to the universal connector port (UCP) on the front panel of the server
module by using a dongle cable. See
“Connecting to the Server Module SP Using a
for more information.
Caution –
Dongle cables are intended for set-up, testing, or service purposes and
should be removed when not in use. They have not been evaluated for
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance and are not to be used during
normal system operation.
You can order an optional dongle cable with the Sun Blade T6320 server module, or
you can use the dongle cable that shipped with your Sun Blade modular system.
