Configuration Options
As shown in

, the StorEdge L1000 library is available in
standalone and rackmount configurations. Other options for the library include:

The number of DLT tape drives. The library can hold one to four DLT7000 tape
drives.
■
Multiple SCSI bus capability. The library can support one to five host computers,
each on a separate SCSI bus. The library is controlled by these host computers via
a SCSI communications link and the SCSI-2 medium changer command set. The
host computer SCSI interface port, the RS-232 port for diagnostics, and the power
connectors are located on the back panel (
