5.3.8 Managing Volume Groups
Use the
sscs
commands described in these subsections to manage volume groups
on the Sun StorEdge 6020 arrays. You can create, add, modify, remove, and delete
volume groups.
Note – To manage volumes, see “Managing Sun StorEdge 6020 Array Volumes” on
page 5-22.
5.3.8.1 Creating a Volume Group
Use this command to create a volume group in a disk array. After creating the
volume group, use the
create volume
subcommand to create volumes and the
add
subcommand to add volumes to the group. The
sscs create volgroup
