6.2.2
Installing the Removable Media Module
1. Complete

Section 6.2.1, “Removing the Removable Media
2. Open the front right door of the system.
3. Insert the removable media module partially into the system (
4. Push the removable media module fully into the system until the metal tab
engages.
5. Reconnect the disk drive power cable, SCSI data cable, SCC card reader cable, and
DVD-ROM drive data/power cable to the IB_SSC assembly (
6. Remove the wrist strap.
7. Slide the system into the system cabinet and secure it.

8. Retract the system cabinet stabilization bar.
9. Reattach the power input cables, AC0 through AC4.

Tape Drive
Caution –
Use proper ESD grounding techniques when handling components. Wear
an antistatic wrist strap and use an ESD-protected mat. Store ESD-sensitive
components in its ESD-safe packaging box before placing them on any surface.
Note –
The tape drive has a SCSI ID of 5.
The tape drive is located in the removable media module, located at the right front
of the system (
