Installing the Handle

Some units include a handle, which you may want to install. The handle is not required to operate
the unit. To install the handle, follow the instructions below:

1.  Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the side of door where the handle is to be installed.
2.  Align the handle with the screws removed in step # 1. Tighten the screws using a Phillips head

screwdriver until the handle is both flush and secured tightly against the door side. (DO NOT
over-tighten as this will cause damage to the door surface.)

OPERATING YOUR BEER FROSTER

It is recommended you install the appliance in a place where the ambient temperature is between
44° and 90°F (7° to 32°C). If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended
temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected.

NOTE:

If the door of the unit is left open for more than 60 seconds, an alarm will sound. The alarm

will stop once the door is closed.

Your Cold Cavern Beer Froster is designed to keep your beer so cold that the bottle literally frosts
over when removed! The Cold Cavern stores your beer at a frigid 24°F in order to give you the
coldest, crispest beer possible.

This freezer is designed for storing lighter domestic beer, preferable in aluminum cans or bottles
(approximately 50 aluminum bottles or 80 aluminum cans). It is NOT recommended for the storage
of heavier or craft beers, or any beer stored in glass bottles.

Control Panel

A digital thermostat (DT) is located in the kick plate of your unit. The DT is set to 24°F for ideal
frosting, but you may see other symbols displayed, which you may not be familiar with. Refer to the
