pairing monitor and camera:
The monitor and camera are paired at the factory for privacy
reasons. If the monitor and camera are not pairing with each
other for any reason, follow steps to re-pair:
in-home handheld monitor features:
•
Temperature Monitoring:
Monitoring the temperature in baby’s
room is easy with the option to display it on screen and helps
parents know baby is comfortable. Switch between Fahrenheit
and Celsius by pressing and holding the Video On/Off button
for 4-seconds.
• Video On-Off Button:
This button turns the video on and off.
Audio and sound lights continue to function normally. It is ideal
for a quick view of baby in the middle of the night. To monitor
in audio only mode, simply press the Video On/Off button to
turn the video screen off.
•
Power Save Mode:
While operating the handheld unit on
battery power, the video screen will go to sleep, to conserve
battery power. Audio and sound lights continue to function
normally. With one-touch of the Video On/Off button, video
resumes on screen.
• Adjustable Volume & Brightness:
Volume adjustments allow
higher volume settings to hear every little sound while lower
volume settings monitor the louder sounds from baby. Adjust
the volume using the up and down arrow buttons on the side of
the monitor. Easily increase and decrease the brightness on
your monitor screen by pressing the menu button and then
pressing the up and down arrows on the front of the monitor to
accommodate the level of light in the room.
• Sound Lights:
The video monitor lets you not only hear your
baby but with sound lights parents can “see” when sound is
coming from baby’s room. Displayed on a color bar above the
video screen, the color changes from green to amber to red as
the sound level increases. These lights can be especially
helpful for parents when they are in crowded or noisy rooms.
1. Move the monitor to the same area as the camera and
make sure both are turned on.
2. Press the POWER/MENU button to call up the OPTION menu.
3. Using the up and down arrows on the front of the monitor, scroll
to “ ” and press ZOOM/SELECT
4. The next available channel will be highlighted. Press
ZOOM/SELECT again to begin pairing.
5. Within 20-seconds, press the CODE button on the back of the
camera and live video will appear once the camera is paired.
If this is unsuccessful, repeat steps above making sure the
camera and monitor are close enough to each other for pairing.
Note:
The SCAN, DEL CAM, ADD CAM, and VIEW CAM menu
options are only used with additional cameras. (See page 13 for
more info on adding cameras to the system.)
