Disassemble hot and cold water valve assembly to prepare for next step

handle and loose the inside set screw by Allen wrench anticlockwise, disassemble the handle from the valve assembly .

Place the valve body onto mounting surface, attach the rubber washer and locknut from underneath of mounting surface,

Then reposition escutcheons as necessary to a desired height. Repeat the same procedure for the right cold valve assembly.
