UIM (User Interface Module)
Please note that there are many possible UIM model configurations and many facets to, or “screens” on, the UIM in
general. For the sake of this section of the manual, a UIM for a ID-30C/I is displayed unless otherwise specified.
Following are renditions of the different Screens that may be viewed on the UIM.
Boot-up Screen
This screen would only be seen when power is initially supplied to the unit. (See Figure 2-4)

Power Screen
This screen appears after initial boot-up. To switch the unit on, touch the screen and current internal temperature
readings will appear on the UIM. (See Figure 2-5)

Home Screen
This screen appears after the power screen is touched meaning the unit is powered on. Real time temperatures are
shown. To view and/or adjust set-points touch the appropriate zone temperature (See Figure 2-6)

Temperature Set-Point Adjust Screen
This screen appears after a temperature reading is touched. Adjust the set-point by touching the “+” or “-” icon in
multiple strokes (See Figure 2-7). Freezer Temperature range is -5°F (-21°C) to 5°F (-15°C); Refrigerator is 34°F
(1°C) to 45° (7°C). When done, touch the te temperature to return to the home screen.
