After the tank has been placed into the device, the Aquarius will restart automatically in
a few seconds.

Please read the operating instructions carefully before operating this device for the first time

instructions on to the subsequent owner of the device.

This device is strictly for household use for the purposes described in these operating instruc-

tions. Any use other than intended and any technical modifications to the device may result in
danger to life and health.
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or who have a lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been given instructions by that
person on how to operate the device.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

Only connect the lead to alternating current. Please pay attention to the voltage specifications
•
on the device.
Do not use damaged extension leads.
•
Do not pull the mains lead across sharp edges or trap the lead.
•
Never pull the plug from the socket by the mains lead or with wet hands.
•
Do not use this air washer in the immediate vicinity of a bath tub, a shower or a swimming pool
•
(keep a minimum distance of 3m). When positioning the device, make sure that it cannot be
touched by anyone from the bath tub.
Do not place the device near a heat source.
•
Do not expose the mains lead to the direct impact of heat (such as a hot stove, open flames,
•
hot iron soleplate or heaters). Protect mains lead from oil.
Make sure that the device has solid footing during operation and that the mains lead does not
•
pose a tripping hazard.
The device is not splash-proof.
•
Do not store or operate this device outdoors.
•
Store the device in a dry place out of the reach of children (in its packaging).
•
Repairs on electrical devices (replacing the mains lead) must only be carried out by qualified
•
specialists. In the event of improper repairs, the warranty will be invalidated and any liability will
be repudiated.
CLEANING
After each use and before the maintenance, the device must be switched off and the power cable
must be disconnected the from the power socket. Therefore, before the cleaning of Aquarius, you
must disconnect the power cable(2) first.
Please note: Never immerse the device in water (risk of short circuit).
To clean the surface of the device, wipe off the dusts with a damp cloth and then dry thor-
•
oughly.
To clean the inside parts of the device, you should pull out the Water tray (5) containing the
•
Disc assembly (8). This Disc assembly (8) and the Water tank (3) need to be cleaned every 2
weeks. Thoroughly clean the container using a brush. If there are lime scales, please soak the
container in a descale-agent and then rinse with clean water thoroughly. In order to clean the
Water tank (3), just rinse the tank with warm water thoroughly. If there are lime scales in the
tank, you can also use descale-agents for cleaning the inside of the Water tank. Subsequently,
rinse the water tank with clean water after descaling and then dry it.
