4. With a helper, use the handles on the support surface to help fold the support surface to the foot end of the litter (Figure

5. Care for the underside of the support surface and the litter deck.
6. Make sure the surface and litter deck are dry.
7. Unfold the support surface and return the bed to a flat position (Figure 4).
8. Reverse steps 4 to 7 for the care of the foot end of the support surface and litter deck (Figure 7).

9. Replace the head board and foot board before you place the product into service.
