10.2 Wi-Fi Network

If you have selected 

Wireless

 in the 

IP setting

 

Connection

 menu, then select the network you want to use. A list 

of available wireless network names is shown. If selected and the network needs a Password, then enter it in 

the on-screen keyboard.

NOTE:

 

 A pop up message is shown to indicate whether the connection is successful or 

not. In the list, a confirmation sign is shown at the connected network.

Check the Weather in your area!  
Use the 

COLOUR

 buttons to setup this simple app.

Select with 

YELLOW

 a major City near you from the list, or search with 

GREEN

 any major city in the world. 

11.0 CONDITIONAL ACCESS

This item allows you to check your Conditional Access Subscription status, download new software via 

Internet, or via USB device.

11.1 CA Menu 

CA Info

 

See technical information about the CA System, useful for servicing. 

Smart card info

  Check the status of your Smart card. If all OK, it will show CA_SMARTCARD_STATE_OK.

Mail List

 

This submenu allows you to read messages from operator. If an operator wants to send 

messages, it will be displayed on the TV screen, showing the 

 icon. Press 

 on the remote 

control or open the submenu to read the message. Press 

RED

 button to delete all messages 

from the list. Press 

BLUE

 to delete the selected message. Press 

BACK

 button to return to 

previous step. Pres 

EXIT

 to exit the menu and go back to viewing mode.

NOTE:

 

Not all providers support this function.

11.2 Software Update

Manually upgrading. Selecting this submenu will perform a search on Satellite for a newer version of the firmware 

and, if found, select 

Yes

 to upgrade or 

No

 to skip upgrade. After upgrade is finished, the unit will reboot itself.

NOTE:

 

 A software upgrade via satellite may take some time, even up to an hour, to 

complete. The unit will automatically check for, and install newer software if 

available, according to the default setting in the Update Setting menu.

11.3 USB Update

Software Update via USB device, follow the instructions on screen, after you have downloaded the software 

from the manufacturers or providers website.

NOTE:

 

 Not all providers support this function.

12.0 TROUBLESHOOTING

There may be various reasons for faulty operation of the receiver. Please check the receiver according to the 

procedures shown below. If the receiver does not work properly after checking it, please contact your local 

service line or STRONG dealer. Alternatively, you can send a support e-mail via our website: www.strong.tv.
