The plunger presses the sewing material from below into the stitch plate
opening, so that the needle can initial stitch the sewing material at the right
penetration.

3.9.1 Removing the plunger (Fig. 11)
A t t e n t i o n !
Disconnect machine from the mains!
1. Remove stitch plate, see point “3.1.1 Removing the stitch plate”.
2. Press plunger downwards with a screwdriver or similar until the surface of
the plunger adjusting screw (2) extrudes from the screw for the plunger
regulation (1).
3. Screw out the plunger adjusting screw (2) and pull out the plunger upward.
