RIDING THE STREET SURFER:
We always say that it is like the STREET SURFER knows what you are thinking. It is
extremely intuitive and you will find out quickly that it is better to let the technology do
what it is supposed to or you may end up injured. It is recommended that once you are
comfortable standing still you just start to think about what you want to do next and let
STREET SURFER work for you.
Forward
– Gently lean forward with equal downward pressure on both balls of your
feet to instruct the STREET SURFER to move forward.
Backward
–Gently lean backward with equal downward pressure on both heels of your
feet to instruct the STREET SURFER to move backward.
Gaining Speed
- Continue to apply more pressure in either a forward or backward motion.
Remember the board doesn’t know which way you are riding it because there is true front or
back.
Right Turn
– While going forward, left heel comes up and right heel goes down. to instruct the
STREET SURFER to turn right.
Left Turn
– While going forward, right heel comes up and left heel goes down, to instruct the
STREET SURFER to turn left.
IMPORTANT: Accelerate and decelerate at a safe speed. Accelerating or decelerating
quickly may result in loss of control, balance and potential injury.
Do not ride over cracks, down steps or raised bumps.
Always be aware of the terrain you are riding on.
Never Jump and keep your feet firmly planted on the board’s platform.
