Super Siege Lantern Operating Instructions

Important!
a.
You must charge the battery before using the Super Siege lantern.
b.
Once the light is charged, the Lantern will function as described below in
Light Function.
2.
Access to Charge Port and USB Power Plug
a.
To access the charge port on the front of the light, insert your finger
tip
under the rubber tab, peel the rubber cover from left to right.
b.
To replace the cover, start at the right side and firmly press the cover
back
into the opening. Ensure the cover is fully seated to ensure
water proof
functionality.

Light Function
a.
White Output Modes = Low, Medium, High, and Off
b.
Red Output Modes = Low, High, Flash SOS and Off
To change the light’s (beam) color from white to red, or red to white, press
and hold the on/off button for two seconds until the light changes color.
Release the button.
Switching Output Modes:
Pushing the button within 1.5 seconds of the
last
button push will change the light mode. You may sequence through all
light
levels and then to off.
NOTE:
If you wait more than two seconds between button pushes, the
next press of the button will turn the light off.

Removing the Outer Globe
a.
While holding onto the main body, twist the Globe counter
clockwise about 1/4 of a turn. Pull the globe straight off.
b.
To replace the globe, place the base of the globe into the lanterns
socket. Push down lightly as you rotate the globe clockwise. The
lugs
of the globe will find their way into the locking lugs of the main
housing.
You will hear and feel a click when the globe locks into its
position.
5.
Spring loaded D rings
–
Pull the D ring into a vertical position using
your
finger tip. When not needed the D rings are spring loaded to lock
down out of
the way.
6.
Battery power meter
– LEDs light up the button on the lantern. LED Color
changes from Green to Yellow to Red as the battery level decreases and
then Blinking red when the batteries are fully depleted.
7.
Scenarios for "Charging External Devices":
a.
Light is off – external devices can be charged - Battery level lights
up in
button.
b.
Light is on – external devices can be charged - Battery level lights
up in
button.
c.
Light is charging – external devices cannot be charged. Button LEDs
show
charging indication. Red for charging and Green for charged.
8.
Battery Replacement
a.
While the 8800 mAh Li Ion battery pack is replaceable. You should
send
the lantern to an Authorized Streamlight Service Center for
battery
replacement.
