OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Stratford EcoBoiler Stove
MULTI PURPOSE OPERATING TOOL
Your STRATFORD stove comes with a
multi-purpose operating tool (Fig. 17) which is
used for both setting and for riddling the multi fuel
grate bars.
The operating tool should also be used for
adjustment of the Air wash and Easy Boost air
inlet position when the stove is alight and / or
hot, and for emptying the ash pan.

RIDDLING
Use the operating tool to set the grate bars in the
correct position for burning. The grate bars
should be set to the
+
symbol on the indicator
bracket. In this position air is directed under the
fuel bed for coal burning.
With the grate bars set to the
-
symbol on the
indicator bracket air is directed over the fuel bed.
