STOW CMS-4 CONCRETE MIXER — INITIAL START-UP (GAS ENGINE)
Starting the Engine (Gasoline Only)
The following steps outline the procedure for starting the engine.
Depending on the type of engine employed in the mixer the
steps may vary slightly. If your mixer has an electric motor
disregard this section.
1.
Move the fuel shut-off lever (Figure 9) to the
ON
position.

To start a cold engine, move the choke lever (Figure 10) to
the
CLOSED
position.

3.
Move the throttle lever (Figure 11) away from the slow
position, about 1/3 of the way toward the fast position.

Turn the engine switch (Figure 12) to the
ON
position.

Located at the rear of the mixer frame is the main
start/
stop
button (Figure 13). Pull this button outward to start the
engine.

6.
Pull the
starter grip
(Figure 14) lightly until you feel
resistance, then pull briskly. The drum should be rotating at
this time.
