Function of a fully automatic wastewater pump:
When the control on the separating unit is switched on, the pump also swit-
ches on automatically and pumps off any water present. The test takes place
4 times in a row if no further operations are started on the system after swit-
ching it on.
Depending on how much water is present, the pump pumps for 2 minutes and
then switches to a 30 second pause mode to avoid any air inclusions. It then
switches back to the 2-minute pump off mode. This sequence is automated for
up to 5 actions. If the pump detects that there is no more water, it switches
to standby mode and restarts the normal program sequence as dictated by the
control. A small amount of water always remains in the catchment container.
