Ensure that the cheese rind is facing outwards and to the rear. Switch the appliance on and start
melting the cheese (e). Place a plate diagonally in front of the raclette grill. Wait until the first layer
of the cheese block is melted. Use the handle to turn the cheese holder outwards and tip it
towards the plate (f). Scrape the melted cheese onto the plate using the supplied cheese scraper
(g). When the cheese rind starts to separate from the cheese block after a while, remove it with
the jagged edge of the cheese knife/spatula (h). Hold on to the handle and swing the cheese back
under the heater element to melt it again. To avoid meat sticking to the grill-plate, we recommend
first frying a rasher of bacon or adding a tiny bit of oil. Too much fat on the grill-plate, can lead to
fat spitting.
