2. Switch off the fuse for the awning and thereby
cut its power. Secure the fuse against unau-
thorized switching on.
3. Check the joints of both arms on the box, at
the intermediate joints and the joints of the
drop-out profile for soiling and brush or wipe
them off as necessary.
If unusual noises or hard-to-remove soiling de-
velop, shut down the awning and have the re-
pair carried out by personnel authorized by the
manufacturer
