Important Safety Instructions

Please take the time to read this manual before operation so
that you fully understand the features and correct use of this
fine product.

Before control start

1. Turn down the channel GAIN, AUX/EFX, and

Fader(Level) controls and center the channel EQ and
PAN/Balance controls.

2. Set all push button switches to their "out" positions.
3. In the output section (right hand side), turn all the rotary

knobs "down," the switches "out".

4. Turn the POWER switch off.

Connections

If  you already know how you want to connect the VX-804
Series, go ahead and connect the inputs and outputs the way
you want them. If  you just want to get sound through the
mixer, follow these steps:
1.  Plug in the detachable line cord, connect it to an AC outlet,

and turn ON the POWER switch on the REAR panel.

2. Plug a microphone or other signal source into channel 1's

MIC or LINE input.

3. Connect cords from the VX-804Series MAIN OUTS (XLR

connectors on the top panel) to your amplifier.

4. Hook up speakers to the amp and turn it on. If the

amplifier has level controls, set them however the
manufacturer recommends (usually all the way up).

Set the Levels

To set the channel GAIN controls, it's not even necessary
to hear what you're doing at the outputs of the mixer. If
you want to listen while you work, plug headphones into the
PHONES jack on the front panel, then set the PHONES
knob (Utility(C.R) Konb) about one-quarter of  the way up.
The following steps must be performed one channel at a time.
1.  Push in the channel's Listen [13] switch. So now is ready

for (PFL) mode.

2. Play something into the selected input. This could be an

instrument, a singing or speaking voice, or a line input
such as a CD player or tape recorder output. Be sure that
the volume of the input source is the same as it would be
during normal use. If it isn't, you might have to readjust
these levels during the middle of the set.

3. Adjust the channel's GAIN[4] control so that the LEDs

on the left/right meter [47] stay around "0" and never go
higher than "+4".

4. lf you'd like to apply some EQ, do so now and return to

step 3.

시작하기 전에 (전원 케이블을 연결하기 전)

1. 채널 게인을 최소로 내려주시고, AUX/EFX, 그리고 레벨 페이

더를 0에 두시고, 채널 EQ와 팬/밸런스는 조절기를 중앙에 위
치시켜 주십시오.

2. 누르는 버튼 스위치는“off”또는“out”으로 위치시켜 주십

시오.

3. 출력부(제품의 오른쪽)의 모든 로터리-노브(돌리는 조절기)는

“최소”로 낮춰주시고 스위치들은 모두 꺼주십시오.

4. 전원 스위치가 꺼져있는지 확인해 주십시오.

제품의 연결

만약 이미 VX-804 시리즈를 어떻게 연결하는지 알고 계시고 어떤
연결을 원하는지 알고 계시다면 원하는 방법대로 입력부와 출력
부를 연결하시면 됩니다. 하지만 만약 믹서를 통해 음향을 얻는 방
법을 잘 모르신다면 다음의 단계에 따르시면 됩니다.

1. 전원 코드를 연결하십시오. AC 아울렛 단자에 연결하시고, 제

품 전면부에 있는 전원 스위치를 켜주십시오.

2. 채널 1에 있는 마이크 또는 라인 입력부에 마이크나 다른 입력

신호를 연결 하십시오.

3. VX-804 시리즈 메인 출력부(전면부의 XLR 컨넥터)와 앰프를

케이블로 연결하십시오.

4. 앰프와 스피커를 연결하고 전원을 켜십시오. 앰프에 볼륨 조절

기가 있다면 제조업체가 추천한 방식으로 설정해 주십시오.

레벨 설정하기

게인을 설정하기 위해 믹서의 출력을 반드시 들어보아야 할 필요
는 없습니다. 만약 작업 도중 음량을 들어보고 싶으시다면, 전면부
에 위치한 폰잭에 헤드폰을 연결하고 폰 노브(유틸리티(C.R) 노브)
1/4정도의 볼륨으로 들어보시면 됩니다. 다음의 단계를 반드시 지
켜주시기 바랍니다.

1. 채널의 듣기(Listen) 스위치[13]를 눌러주십시오. 이는 PFL 모

드의 준비 사항입니다.

2. 선택한 입력부로 입력신호를 넣으십시오. 이는 악기가 될 수도

있고 노래하거나 연설하는 목소리가 될 수도 있습니다. 또는,
CD 플레이어나 테이프 레코더의 출력등과 같은 음향기기의 라
인 입력이 될 수도 있습니다. 입력 신호의 볼륨은 일반적으로
사용하시는 정도로 해 주십시오. 만약 그렇지 않다면, 설정하던
중간에 또다시 레벨을 조절해야 합니다.

3. 채널 게인[4]을 조절하여 좌, 우 LED 미터기를 0 근처에서 켜지

도록 하시고 되도록 +4를 넘기지 않도록 유의하여 주십시오.

4. EQ를 활용하고 싶으시다면, 채널의 고음, 중음, 저음 레벨을 원

하는 만큼 조절하시고 3번 항을 반복하세요.

5. 채널의 듣기(Listen) 스위치를 꺼주세요.

6. 위 단계를 각 채널마다 반복하여 해주세요.
