The steam head

the tank is exhausted.

Fill the water tank with water.

been set.

a higher position.

the instructions on page 21.

does not heat up.

properly connected to

Insert the plug into a wall
power socket and turn on
the power to the outlet. Then
turn the steam control to the
required steam setting.

Water is dripping
from the holes in the
soleplate.

The soleplate is not
hot enough to produce
steam.

Set an appropriate steam/
temperature setting, then
press and hold the steam
trigger button, or engage the
self-lock.

The steam volume is too
high, e.g, when set to
"Clean".

After the cleaning cycle,
select a lower steam setting.

White streaks
are dripping from
the holes in the
soleplate.

Limescale has built up
which must be removed.

Descale the appliance
following the instructions on
page 21.

Brown streaks are
dripping from the
steam holes.

Have you added anything
to the water in the tank?

Only add water to the tank,
no additives.

It stopped steaming
during use.

The appliance will stop
steaming when the water
tank is empty.

Switch off and unplug the
appliance, then refill the water
tank.
