Open the battery compartment (1).

Unplug the battery connector (2).
In order to avoid short-circuits, it is recommen-
ded that batteries with polar terminals or un-
protected connections be covered with a rub-
ber mat.

Unlock the battery.
–
Attach the lifting device (1) correctly to the
battery (2) (see the lifting device user man-
ual), then remove it from the truck.
–
The lifting device must exercise vertical
traction in order to avoid the boot being
damaged. The hooks must be placed so
that they cannot fall on the battery cells
when the lifting device is slackened.
CAUTION
Use small hooks for slinging the battery.
