Shot of steam:
Shot of steam give extra steam for removing persistent wrinkles.
• Place the temperature selector at the “max”position and wait until the pilot light
goes out
• Wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fibre before pressing again.
NOTE :
For the best steam quality, do not use more than three successive bursts each
time. Several pumping actions are needed to start this function. Excessive use of this
feature will cause the iron to cool , ensure that the pilot light is out, before operating
the shot of steam control
Vertical Steam:
“Surge of Steam” can also be applied when holding the iron in vertical position, this
is useful for removing creases from hanging clothers, curtains, etc...
Dry Ironing:
• Set the Dry/Steam Selector to position O(=No Steam)
• As per washing label of various clothes, set the correct ironing temperature to
begin a ironing.
Anti Calc:
• With a small filter built-in,which can make hard water soft, thus preventing any
calc or flake accumulated on the surface of soleplate,this features can prolong the
life of the iron for long use.
Anti Drip:
• With a bimetal assembled inside the iron, which can close the steam when the
iron soleplate becomes very low, so water leakage will never happen with this
features.
Self-Cleaning:
Use the self-cleaning function once every two weeks.If the water in your area is very
hard (i.e, when flakes come out of the soleplate during ironing),the self-cleaning
function should be used more frequently.). Make sure the appliance is unplugged,set
the Dry/Steam Selector to steam level “O”, fill the water tank to the MAX position,
do not put vinegar or other dealing agents in the water tank.,select the maximum
ironing temperature,put the plug in the wall socket,unplug the iron when the power
indicator lighter has gone off, hold the iron over the sink, press the self-cleaning
button until the steam cover jump out and then use hand to pull the steam cover
upward a little,no need to pull the steam cover completely out of the iron,at this
time, the self-cleaning begin works,then shake the iron to and fro. Steam and boiling
water will come out of the soleplate, impurities and flakes(if any) will be flushed out.
After finishing the self-cleaning, press the steam cover downward to make the self-
cleaning button remain their original position with no gap. Repeat the self-cleaning
process if the iron still contains a lot of impurities. After the self-cleaning process,
put the plug in the wall socket and let the iron heat up to allow the soleplate to dry,
unplug the iron when it has reached the set ironing temperature,move the hot iron
gently over a piece of used cloth to remove any water stains that may have formed
