unplugged,set the Dry/Steam Selector to steam level “O”, fill the water tank to the
MAX position, do not put vinegar or other dealing agents in the water tank.,select
the maximum ironing temperature,put the plug in the wall socket,unplug the iron
when the power indicator lighter has gone off, hold the iron over the sink, press
the self-cleaning button until the steam cover jump out and then use hand to
pull the steam cover upward a little,no need to pull the steam cover completely
out of the iron,at this time, the self-cleaning begin works,then shake the iron
to and fro. Steam and boiling water will come out of the soleplate, impurities
and flakes(if any) will be flushed out. After finishing the self-cleaning, press the
steam cover downward to make the self-cleaning button remain their original
position with no gap. Repeat the self-cleaning process if the iron still contains a
lot of impurities. After the self-cleaning process, put the plug in the wall socket
and let the iron heat up to allow the soleplate to dry, unplug the iron when it
has reached the set ironing temperature,move the hot iron gently over a piece of
used cloth to remove any water stains that may have formed on the soleplate,let
the iron cool down before you store it.

IV. CLEANING and MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the iron to cool
down sufficiently.
1. Wipe off the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
2. If the fiber is adhered to the soleplate, use a damp cloth with vinegar to wipe
off the soleplate.
3. Never use strong acid or alkali in order to avoid damaging the soleplate.
4. If the scale blocks the steam hole, please remove the scale with toothpick; do
not damage the surface of soleplate.
5. Stand the iron on its end and let it cool down sufficiently, and meantime pour
any remaining water out of the box, set the dry/steam selector to position
“O”.
Defects and repairs
• Do not attempt to replace a defective mains lead .The appliance has to be
returned to an authorized service centre for repair.
Faults-reasons and solutions
Iron emits an odor or
smoke
Iron gives off an odor when turned on for the
first time. Oils used during manufacture need
to be burnt off allow ten minutes for odor to
disappear.
Iron does not heat
The iron should be plugged into a 230 Volt ,
AC electrical outlet only. The temperature dial
must be set at the desired temperature.
