• Bread may burn. Therefore this toaster must not be used near or below curtains
and other combustible materials.
• Do not place the cable or any other object over the bread openings whilst the
toaster is in operation.
• Do not attempt to dislodge food while the toaster is in operation.
• Toasting lever must be in the‘UP’ position before attaching or disconnecting
the plug from wall outlet.
• Do not insert metal objects or other utensils into the toaster, as this will cause
an electric shock or cause a fire.
• Do not leave the toaster unattended whilst in operation.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.

IV. USAGE
• Bread can be toasted as follow: Push the plug into the socket and turn on the
toaster using the toast lever. Note: When using the appliance for the first time,
it will emit some smoke. This is normal and it will stop by itself after a few
minutes.
• The stop button with indicator light-the light comes on automatically once the
toaster is turned on.
• The stop button is there to prematurely stop the toasting process.
• Reheat button with indicator light-the light goes on when the button is de-
pressed.
• The reheat button is used to heat up the toast.
