• Press the +/- button on the control panel to select the temperature, and then
press the on/off button, the kettle starts to boil water to the temperature you
set.
• The kettle switches off automatically when the water has boiled.
Oprating tea maker;
• Place the tea into the tea bag and then add the appropriate water to the level
between MIN and MAX shown by the kettle water gauge.
• After adding water, place the lid properly.
• Press the +/- button on the control panel to select the temperature, and
then press and hold the on/off button for 2-3 seconds until you hear 2 beeps,
the keep warm function is activated, the kettle starts to boil water to the
temperature you set and then keep warm for 30 minutes.
• Switch the kettle on (the switch is located at the bottom of the handle). The
indicator light then lights up.
• The kettle switches off automatically when the water has boiled.
Safety Device:
• The kettle is fitted with an ON/OFF switch which automatically switches off once the
water has boiled. Do not hold the ON/OFF switch in the on position.
• If the kettle is switched ON with too little water, or no water, it is protected
against damage by a safety cut-out which will switch off the power. If the cut-
out operates, disconnect the kettle from the mains supply and leave to cool
down before refilling with cold water.
V. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Care:
Misuse such as overfilling the kettle, allowing excessive scale build-up, and
boiling with water below the MIN mark will reduce the life of the element and
product.
Cleaning:
• Turn off and unplug the kettle and power base.
• To clean make sure the kettle is empty and, before continuing, ensure the
kettle has completely cooled.
• Using a soft, damp cloth and detergent (if necessary) wipe down the kettle.
• Make sure all connectors, sockets and switches are kept dry.
• DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE PRODUCT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the product
surfaces.
Scale&De-Scaling:
• To minimize scale build-up, empty the kettle after every use and do not leave
unused water in the kettle over long periods of time.
• Regularly de-scale the kettle using a proprietary brand of de-scaler. Follow
