Connector for Poten-
tial Equalization
The purpose of additional
potential equalization is to
equalize potentials be-
tween different metal
parts that can be touched
simultaneously, or to
reduce differences of
potential which can occur
during operation between
the body, the medical
electrical devices and
conductive parts of other
objects.
The connection is made
by green-yellow insulated
leads (min. 4 mm²) to
standardized plug con-
nectors and receptacles.
When connect-
ing/combining medical
electrical equipment to-
gether to a medical elec-
trical system, the re-
quirements of IEC/EN
60601-1 must be ob-
served.

nector for removable
power cord with
mains plug
Conveys electricity from
the wall power outlet to
the control unit. Pull the
mains plug to disconnect
from supply network.
